Navigation review reminder
Menu labels should help visitors find the right content.

Navigation review should be part of the regular editorial rhythm, not only a launch task. Users expect key sections to stay in a predictable place. Check item order, label length and whether names are clear without internal jargon. Every item must lead to a live, relevant page. Empty or outdated destinations quickly erode trust.
On mobile, confirm the menu opens reliably and tap targets are large enough. When adding a section, decide immediately what leaves or merges. Growing menus become hard to scan. Align navigation with the sitemap and with internal links inside articles. Record changes and the review date so the team knows what was intentional versus temporary.
After major changes, ask someone who did not work on the content for a quick pass. A fresh look spots unclear labels fast. Also review footer navigation; users often rely on it when the main menu fails them. If a mega menu exists, confirm groups are logical and columns are not empty. Remove temporary campaign items as soon as the campaign ends.
