GameLab STEM: learning through making games
With GameLab STEM we applied for a school workshop program where students learn programming, logic, and teamwork by building a simple video game. The focus is hands-on: from idea and prototype to testing and presenting. Students use approachable tools and templates, while mentors from Pixel Forge Games help each team reach a playable demo.
Planned outcomes include 30+ workshops, a teacher guide, a free asset pack, and an open repository of examples. We also emphasize accessibility with clear instructions, inclusive teams, and multiple knowledge levels so every student can participate and progress.
